Our team has been hard at work to bring you and your customers enhancements across various categories this quarter. In this update, we are introducing new features such as tokenization, detailed fee descriptions, additional transaction information, new web-hook events, improvement to MCC list management and more. Read on to learn what these updates mean for your product and how you can access them.

What is it: Secure Card Storage with Tokenization
Category: Tokens/Wallets

How it helps you:
Our nCore platform now allows your customers to securely store payment card information for future purchases. This feature is made possible through the use of VISA tokenization service, which replaces the card’s primary account number (PAN) with a unique, randomly-generated token. We’ve added the

‘Get encrypted card details’ API, which can generate encrypted card details. This helps protect the user’s card data from fraud and theft, as the token cannot be used to access your actual card information. They can enjoy the convenience of using the stored card information for quick and easy transactions.

What is it: Detailed Information About Transfer Fees
Category: Fees/ Transfers

How it helps you:
When a transfer is made, there are often fees associated with that transaction. We’ve added a new feature that provides your customers with more detailed information about these fees.

This information will now be available as a “fee_details” parameter in the responses you receive from our ‘Fund Transfers’ and ‘Transactions’ APIs. Additionally, we’ve also added this new “fee_details” parameter to the TRANSACTION webhook sample, so this information can be received in real-time. Essentially, this means that your customers will now be able to see more detailed information about any fees associated with the transfer transactions.

What is it: Detailed Information About Source Channel of Transactions
Category: Transfers

How it helps you:
We’ve made some improvements to our ‘Transfers’ and ‘Transactions’ APIs and added two new parameters called “source_channel” and “notes”. These parameters will provide more context about how transactions were initiated (the source channel) and any additional notes or comments associated with the transaction. In short, this means that your customers now have more information available when reviewing the transaction history.

What is it: Web-hook Sample For Expired Authorization
Category: Authorization/Web-hooks

How it helps you:
We’ve added a new feature so you can configure the web-hook for expired authorizations to be notified whenever an authorization is expired by the system. We’ve included a web-hook sample in our documentation. Additionally, we’ve added four new parameters to our Transactions APIs: “auth_expired_by, “auth_expired_at, “is_reversed”, and “is_settled”. These parameters provide more detailed information about expired authorizations, including who expired the authorization, when it was expired, and whether it was reversed or settled. In summary, these new features will allow your customers to stay up-to-date on expired authorizations and better understand the status of the transactions.

What is it: MCC List Management for Easier Authorization of Transactions
Category: Authorization Controls

How it helps you:
We’ve made important improvements to our MCC list management system. You can now create a single list that includes both allowed and blocked MCC codes, which will enable you to more easily authorize transactions based on your configured settings. Additionally, our system now automatically creates and links a default MCC list whenever you create a new card product with the “ALL MCC codes = true” setting. These changes will help better manage your MCC codes and streamline the authorization processes.
